It feels good working back on children illustration again.
Time ago I illustrated some whole books from scratch.

I really enjoy passing time thinking in the best way to do the characters acting.
For me it's crucial to get involved emotionally, characters for small kids need to be kind and funny, caring a lot about the visuals and the feelings, avoiding grotesque and unfriendly faces and behaviors.

The color helps to tell the story, creating the perfect atmosphere.

Love is crucial to maintain the balance and harmony.

A PERSONAL TASTE

I think picturebooks should evoke the same feelings as food.
After all, we are feeding little minds :)
